How about these names for shopping malls... win or fail?
A recent post about shopping centres/malls prompted me of shopping mall names I've encountered, where one shone and one bombed.
Win! ✅
MallDova (in where else but Chișinău, Moldova!)
Great wordplay that works in the two main languages of the Moldovan capital, Romanian and Russian. When I was there in 2016, I saw a couple having their wedding photos done inside this mall. Très glamour!

Fail! ❎
The Mall (Sofia, Bulgaria)
There's no "th" (ð) sound in Bulgarian, so most Bulgarians can't even properly pronounce this mall's otherwise dull name. And with no "th" (ð) in Cyrillic, in Bulgarian it becomes the ridiculous "Дъ Мол" ("De Mol"). To avoid using this weird spelling, all signage for "The Mall" is solely in English, which is problematic when 3 out of 4 people in Bulgaria do not have any working knowledge of English.
